Washi Tape Hacks

We loved using washi tape over the holidays to add a quirky touch to all the presents we wrapped for friends and family. With lots of washi tape going spare, we've been looking up some awesome ways to use it up and add some extra colour to our day to day lives! These are our favourite ideas for creative ways to use your left over washi tape in 2015.
Got a boring journal or diary? Customise the cover with stripes of washi tape to brighten up your note takings this year! Get the tutorial and watch u-createcrafts.com's video for lots more ways to personalise your note pads.
Create a geometric design to make a plain pin board a lot more attractive. A simple way to add some artwork into your organisational plans this year. Fab idea from Jenn at dotcomsformoms.com.
Complete your washi tape pinboard with washi tape pins! Get this simple tutorial here and add some colourful tape to liven up basic push pins. Now you have no excuse not to be organised in 2015!
We love cupcakes. We love flags. We love washi tape. So what is there not to love about these adorable cupcake decorations made using a washi tape and cocktail sticks!
The perfect way to brighten up some simple wooden spoons to use at your next party. Better still, our wooden cutlery is in the sale at Flingers, with packs of 24 pieces at just £0.49!
Or, just re-evaluate the way you use washi tape to wrap your presents! Get creative and use the colourful tape to create patterns and geometric flourishes on plain wrapping paper. Much better than using it just as a substitute for normal selotape! A great idea from poppytalk.com.
